In this Cable Hand role, you will:

Work alongside Site Supervisors, Electricians and Jointers to deliver electrical installation work on site

Help install lighting and power systems, cable trays and ladders, cabling and switchgear

Install LV and HV cables using cable rigs, trailers and winches
-
Complete earthing works as needed

Assist HV teams with major site installations, fault investigations and breakdown response

Follow safe working practices, look after company equipment and represent Powersystems professionally

Promote Powersystems Priority No.1 commitment to Health, Safety and Wellbeing, alongside high standards and continual improvement

A valid JIB-approved ECS card

A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK

Previous experience working on construction sites

Experience with commercial and industrial electrical installations

The ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team

Electrical power sector experience would be advantageous
-
Clear communication, good attention to detail and a proactive, adaptable attitude
