Qualified Primary Teacher Required – Two Learners (BR3, Bromley)
GoWise Learning is seeking a warm, engaging and experienced Primary Teacher to support two learners through weekly 1:1 sessions in the family home.
Location: BR3 (Bromley)
Every Thursday, 2:30pm – 5:00pm
Pay: £30 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible
The two learners live approximately 5 minutes' drive from each other, making this an ideal opportunity for a teacher seeking a consistent weekly block of work.
About the Learners
Learner 1
A young learner with additional needs who benefits from a play-based, child-led approach to learning. The successful teacher will be confident building engagement through interests, sensory activities, communication opportunities and relationship-based practice.
This learner responds best to:
- Play-based learning
- Creative and hands-on activities
- Flexible teaching approaches
- A calm, nurturing and responsive adult
Learner 2
A friendly and engaging primary-aged learner who requires support with:
- Maths
- English
- Reading and comprehension
- Writing skills
- Emotional literacy
- Feelings and self-awareness
- Emotional regulation and confidence building
This learner enjoys interactive activities and responds well to positive encouragement and relationship-based teaching.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
- Have experience teaching within Primary Education
- Be confident delivering Maths and English at primary level
- Be able to adapt teaching to individual learning needs
- Build strong and trusting relationships with children
- Have a nurturing, patient and flexible approach
- Be confident supporting children's emotional wellbeing alongside academic development
- Have experience supporting SEND learners (desirable)
Essential Requirements:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
✅ Right to Work in the UK
✅ Strong safeguarding knowledge
✅ Ability to travel to BR3
✅ Availability every Thursday from 2:30pm – 5:00pm
