DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
37.5 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 3 Non-Term Time Weeks
Salary: £55,000 per annum (pro-rata to full-time equivalent of £67,613)
Guildford High School is seeking an exceptional Director of Development to lead and deliver an ambitious fundraising and philanthropic strategy in support of the School’s long-term vision and strategic priorities.
Reporting to the Head, the Director of Development will be responsible for generating significant voluntary income and building a sustainable pipeline of philanthropic support. Working closely with senior leaders, Governors and key stakeholders, you will design and lead a compelling development strategy, enhancing bursary provision and supporting future capital projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced fundraiser to design, deliver, and lead an engaging and impactful fundraising programme within a dynamic and vibrant school environment.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience of capital fundraising programmes, gained either within the education sector or beyond. You will demonstrate a strong track record of success in engaging and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, inspiring support and driving sustainable growth in fundraising initiatives
