As part of our continued growth we are recruiting for an Operations Administrator to join our small, friendly and growing Operations team.
What we are looking for
As our Operations Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Operations Manager and helping to keep our business running smoothly. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative processes, maintaining accurate data, coordinating communications, and ensuring operational tasks are completed efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is growing, where you'll have the chance to make the role your own. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, is proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes, and wants to play an active part in shaping how our operations function as we continue to grow.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Operations Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Managing reception duties and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, customers and suppliers.
- Handling a high volume of telephone enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring goods are received, recorded and dispatched accurately.
- Managing operational data and maintaining accurate records.
- Preparing spreadsheets, reports and operational documentation.
- Coordinating internal communications and ensuring information flows efficiently across the business.
- Supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operational processes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and suggesting more efficient ways of working.
- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy and being the go-to person who keeps everything organised. You'll be proactive, dependable and happy working as part of a close-knit team.You'll have:
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience managing reception duties and handling a busy volume of telephone enquiries.
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to identify process improvements and implement positive change.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- A customer-focused approach with a professional and helpful manner.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
