Join a Leading Flexible Packaging Manufacturer
Teamwork Partnership is recruiting for an experienced Flexographic Print Operator to join a growing packaging manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled print professional with experience in flexible packaging and flexographic printing. You will be responsible for producing high-quality printed packaging products while ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are maintained at all times.
The Role
As a Flexographic Print Operator, you will set up and operate wide-web flexographic printing presses, producing high-quality designs on flexible plastic substrates and paper. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in maximising machine performance, maintaining print quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexographic printing presses for production runs
- Print high-quality designs of up to 8 colours onto flexible packaging materials
- Monitor print quality, colour consistency, and production efficiency
- Optimise machine speeds to maximise uptime and minimise downtime
- Troubleshoot print and machine issues, escalating maintenance concerns where required
- Carry out quality checks throughout the production process
- Report any quality concerns that could impact production output
- Maintain stock levels of inks, materials, and consumables
- Handle solvent-based inks safely and in accordance with procedures
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards using 5S principles
- Support and train new team members when required
- Ensure comprehensive shift handovers are completed accurately
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities across the department
What We're Looking ForEssential Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Flexographic Print Operator
- Experience within a packaging or flexible packaging manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of lamination and slitting processes
- Experience of mounting processes
- Understanding of BRC Code of Practice
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working within a fast-moving manufacturing environment

Working Hours
- 48 hrs per week across 4 nights for 12 hour shifts, typically within Monday - Friday frame, but Saturdays may be requested as and when the business requires.
