Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using recognised accounting software Datafile
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain ledger entries to ensure data integrity.
- month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing reports for management review.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with organisational policies.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding billing queries and payment schedules.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.
- Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience working with accounting software Datafile
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management.
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or finance role is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise professionally with colleagues and external contacts.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards within the UK is advantageous.
