The opportunity
We are recruiting a Trainee Industrial Door Installation Engineer in the Rugby area. You will work alongside an experienced engineer, gaining practical, on-the-job training with the aim of progressing into a lead engineer role. Progression timescales will reflect your individual development and experience.
What you’ll do
· Assist with the installation of industrial doors and associated products.
· Learn safe working practices, technical procedures and product requirements.
· Work closely with an experienced engineer at customer sites.
· Complete training and qualifications needed to progress within the role.
What we’re looking for
· A full UK driving licence — essential.
· Previous experience using power tools.
· A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
· Flexibility to work overtime when required.
· A commitment to safe, high-quality work and excellent customer service.
Previous industrial door experience is not essential because full training and career development will be provided. Experience in a similar role or industry would be advantageous. A CSCS card, PASMA or IPAF qualification, welding qualification or forklift truck licence would also be beneficial, but these are not required; relevant training will be provided where needed. The appointment is subject to a criminal record check.

Hours, location and salary
Location: Rugby area
Salary: £14 to £15 per hour dependent on skills and experience.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, with overtime as required.
