About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural Mechanic to join our team in Lisburn. You will be working on various equipment, including Kubota Tractors and Merlo telehandlers. Manufacturer training will be provided for the right candidate. A previous background in this industry would be beneficial and studied Land Based Engineering at College.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual to work on a wide range of farming equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, completing routine servicing, and ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of tractors and telehandlers
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment meets operational and health and safety standards.
- Complete repair documentation and maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Identify parts requirements and support stock control processes where required.
- Provide advice to customers and colleagues on equipment operation, maintenance, and care.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop and service department.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in mechanical repair, servicing, or maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability.
- Experience using workshop hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
