Location: West Midlands
We are currently seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer / Drainage Operative to work on domestic and commercial drainage systems throughout the West Midlands.
This role involves a variety of drainage works, including excavation, drain repairs, reinstatement and unblocking services. Experience with water mains repairs and installations is preferred, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out drainage works on domestic and commercial properties
- Excavate and repair drains as required
- Complete reinstatement works to a high standard
- Unblock external drains and internal blockages
- Respond to call-out duties as part of a rota, one week in every four
- Assist with water mains repairs and installations where required
Requirements
- Previous experience in drainage works is essential
- Ability to work across domestic and commercial sites
- Experience in excavation, drain repairs, reinstatement and drain unblocking
- Water mains repair and installation experience preferred, but not essential
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Full driving licence preferred for company vehicle use
