Sorriso cafe is a small business in Glasgow. We are looking for a head chef with experience that can be in charge of putting specials out, control food gp and manage a team of 4 kitchen staff Including doing Rota’s.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
- Create and develop menus that align with the restaurant's concept and target audience
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and proper use of equipment
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop new dishes and specials
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and industry trends
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
