International Crusher Solutions Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of crusher machinery, wear parts and engineered solutions for the quarrying, mining and recycling industries. We design, manufacture and refurbish a wide range of crushing equipment, providing innovative and reliable solutions to customers throughout the UK and internationally.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer / CAD Draughtsperson to join our team.
The Role
Working as part of our engineering team, you will be responsible for producing accurate manufacturing drawings, creating 3D models and assisting in the design and development of crusher machinery and associated components.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working on heavy engineering projects and seeing their designs brought to life in our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks and CAD software.
- Design new crusher machinery, components and replacement parts.
- Modify and improve existing products and assemblies.
- Liaise with production and fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
- Maintain engineering drawings, bills of materials and design documentation.
- Support continuous product development and engineering improvements.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proficient in SolidWorks.
- Strong CAD design experience.
- Ability to produce detailed engineering and manufacturing drawings.
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience within heavy engineering, quarrying, mining or recycling industries.
- Knowledge of crushers, screening equipment or bulk material handling equipment.
- Experience with fabrication, machining and welded assemblies.
