Part-Time Bartender
The Hinchliffe Arms – Cragg Vale, Hebden Bridge
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Bartender to join our team at The Hinchliffe Arms.
We’re a busy countryside pub in the heart of Cragg Vale, offering great food, a wide range of drinks and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
The Role
As part of our front-of-house team, you’ll help make sure every customer receives a friendly welcome and great service.
Your duties will include:
- Serving beers, wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks
- Taking food and drink orders
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service
- Making and serving cocktails – training can be provided
- Handling cash and card payments
- Keeping the bar and customer areas clean and presentable
- Restocking and general bar duties
- Table service when required
- Helping with opening and closing procedures
- Assisting with cash handling and end-of-shift duties once trained
- Working as part of the team during busy services, events and functions
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident and approachable
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable speaking with customers
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Happy working in a busy pub environment
- Willing to learn and get stuck in
- Available for a mixture of evening and weekend shifts
Previous bar or hospitality experience would be helpful, but it isn’t essential. We’re more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, personality and willingness to learn.
Full training can be provided, including cocktail making, table service, opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
Hours & Pay
Job Type: Part-timeHours: Flexible part-time hours, including evenings and weekendsPay: National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage, dependent on age
Additional hours may be available during busy periods, holidays and events.
