Bar Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth running of all Bar, Hotel & Restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager
- Ensure weekly and daily cleaning checklists are completed by bar staff with High Standards
- Ensure all of the bar team adhere to systems and procedures as outlined in the Staff Guide and House Rules.
- Ensure all stock is rotated and stored in a safe manner
- Ensure the bar is prepared for Opening shift and left in accordance with relevant standards of procedure.
- Ensure the bar is closed down in accordance with relevant standards of procedure and correct company Security procedure.
- Ensure that the staff rota is adhered to and be able to adjust when necessary
- Hire, develop, train and coach bar staff to the standards required of the company
- Managing of Social Media Accounts and other Marketing.
- The running of Events/Bar Promotions/Entertainment in absence of Management.
- Drive Sales
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Motivate the Team.
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 1 years full time experience in a similar position.
- Experience working with standard operating procedures and updating where necessary
- Be able to demonstrate taking initiative and supervising others
- Very experienced in dealing with high volume and fast paced working environments
- Individuals must have flexibility in their approach, the ability to adapt to last minute changes and be extremely customer focused
- Shift work and flexibility is required in this position.
