Hybrid: 1 day per week in Buckinghamshire office - Somewhere in a blue-chip life sciences or financial services boardroom, the next big event brief is being written. This role exists to make sure this agency gets that call, with a full creative and production engine behind every conversation.
- Strategic influence: shape how the new-business function is built and run
- Full creative and production agency backing for every pitch you lead
- OTE of £20,000-£30,000 on top of base, paid half-yearly
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus your birthday off

The Company
This is a full-service creative, strategy and production agency sitting within a global meetings and events business, with multiple UK offices and a collaborative, long-tenure team. Staff tend to stay, the culture is genuinely hybrid-first, and the client base is blue-chip, weighted toward life sciences, professional services and financial services. The agency handles everything in-house, from experience design through to production, which means pitches are credible, delivery is joined up, and an Event Sales Director has real firepower behind every conversation.
The Role
The Event Sales Director is a newly created, dedicated outbound hunter role, focused entirely on winning net-new and lapsed business for the agency's creative and experiential arm, with the full weight of in-house creative, production and experience design teams behind every proposal.
- Build and manage a qualified new-business pipeline targeting strategic accounts
- Develop and execute annual sales strategies aligned to growth objectives
- Lead RFP, tender and pitch processes end to end
- Run discovery conversations and solution workshops with senior client decision-makers
- Partner with creative, production and experience design teams on winning proposals
- Maintain CRM discipline, pipeline governance and accurate forecasting
- Represent the agency at industry events and through thought leadership activity
The Candidate
Proven new-business hunters with a strong track record in B2B events or full-service agency sales will be well placed for this Event Sales Director role, particularly those who have opened doors into complex accounts, navigated long deal cycles and brought in meaningful revenue without relying on a warm patch.
For the Event Sales Director position, experience collaborating with creative or production teams on pitches and proposals is beneficial but not essential. What matters most is the mindset: commercially sharp, comfortable working strategically over a longer sales cycle, and motivated by building something rather than inheriting it.
In return you can expect a base salary of £65,000-£70,000, an OTE of £20,000-£30,000, genuine hybrid flexibility, and the opportunity to put your mark on how this agency grows.
