The Role
We are looking for a driven Production Shift Manager to take ownership of our days manufacturing shift.
You will be responsible for running the factory during your shift, leading teams across multiple production departments to ensure the business delivers safe operations, strong output and consistent quality.
This is a hands-on leadership role on the shop floor, working closely with the Operations and Production Managers on other shifts to ensure the factory performs.
The successful candidate will be someone who thrives under pressure, solves problems quickly and keeps production moving even when challenges arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for running the afternoon production shift
- Ensure the factory delivers the daily production plan
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and operational performance
- Lead and support supervisors and operators across the shift
- Quickly resolve issues affecting production, materials, equipment or staffing
- Maintain throughput and performance when operating under pressure
- Communicate clearly with senior management and provide shift updates

Essential Experience
- Experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience delivering production targets
- Strong understanding of health & safety in a factory setting
- Confident problem solver and decision maker
What We Offer
- £38,000 – £45,000 salary depending on experience
