Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity and entry points
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using industry-standard methods and environmentally safe products
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and follow-up procedures to ensure long-term results
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, and client interactions for compliance and reporting purposes
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations during all pest control activities
- Assist in the preparation and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Support team members with logistical tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory of supplies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pest control is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for trainees
- Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift equipment or supplies as needed
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Valid , clean driver’s license preferred
- Commitment to safety protocols and environmentally responsible practices
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the pest control industry
A fully expensed, company van is provided following successful training/induction period
Hours will be between 30-40 per week, usually Monday to Friday with very occasional requirement for weekend work
An hourly rate will be established and agreed at interview to cover the induction & training period - please note some training will take place outside of the area at our training providers
