Salary: From £28,000 per annum + 5% commission on new business leads

At Cleankill Environmental Services, we're looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Bird Proofing Technician to join our growing team. Whether you're coming from construction, maintenance, roofing, pest control, or simply have the right attitude and a willingness to learn, we'll provide all the training and support you need to build a successful career.
This isn't your typical 9-5 office job. Every day you'll be out on-site, working on a variety of commercial and residential properties across London and the South East, installing specialist bird proofing systems that protect buildings and solve real customer problems.

The Opportunity
As a Trainee Bird Proofing Technician, you'll work alongside experienced specialists, learning how to install a wide range of professional bird proofing solutions, including:
- Bird netting systems
- Bird spikes
- Post and wire systems
- Other specialist bird deterrent and exclusion systems
You'll receive full training in safe working practices, including working at height and using specialist access equipment, giving you the skills and confidence to develop into an experienced technician.
- Assisting experienced technicians with the installation of bird proofing systems.
- Preparing sites and ensuring work areas are safe and ready.
- Transporting and handling specialist tools, materials and equipment.
- Learning to identify bird activity, nesting areas and building access points.
- Recording completed work and maintaining accurate site records.
- Delivering a professional, friendly service to customers.
- Following health & safety procedures and industry best practice.
- Taking part in ongoing training to develop your technical skills and progress your career.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for attitude over experience. If you're reliable, eager to learn and enjoy practical work, we'll teach you the rest.
You'll ideally be:
- Practical and hands-on.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Happy working at height (full training provided).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying equipment.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Organised, safety-conscious and reliable.
- Passionate about delivering great customer service.
Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willing to undergo a DBS check.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
