Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, developing insightful visualisations, and supporting business decision-making processes. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets from various sources including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other relational databases.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate key insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation across different departments.
- Design and maintain databases with a focus on efficient database architecture and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables following the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Utilise programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analysis tasks.
- Support project management activities by tracking progress, preparing documentation in Visio, and ensuring timely delivery of analytics solutions.
- Assist in the development of reports and presentations that support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
- Maintain data security standards whilst ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
Skills
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), SQL (including SQL Server), and Oracle database systems.
- Strong understanding of business analysis principles coupled with experience in database design.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively within the SDLC framework.
- Excellent analysis skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data interpretation.
- Experience with Visio for process mapping and documentation purposes.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong organisational skills combined with the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences.

Pay: £26,850.80-£60,172.40 per year
