Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years. You will play a key role in guiding children's learning through play and ensuring their wellbeing.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the individual needs of children.
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure continuity of care.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their developmental milestones and sharing insights with parents.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery space that meets health and safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early years education, preferably within a nursery setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Knowledge of early childhood education frameworks and best practices.
- Ability to drive initiatives that promote children's learning through play-based activities.
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are desirable but not essential.
