In-House Photographer – Join the Medbar Team!
We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic in-house photographer to capture the energy and atmosphere of our weekly events and nightlife at Medbar.
This is a permanent, on-payroll position — not a freelance role — where you’ll become a valued member of our creative and events team.
EDITING PHOTOS AND VIDEOS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS ROLE: All we require is someone to take the photos and videos and send them to us. We will edit, watermark and upload all photos and videos.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for photographing, taking videos and creating content for our weekly events, highlighting the unique vibe, guests, and experiences that make Medbar stand out.
What is expecting from you:
- Capture a specific amount of high quality photos & videos each night
- Send all content to us by the next day
What is NOT required by you:
- No edited of photos or videos is required
- No watermarking of photos is required
- No uploading images or video to social media is required
We will do all the above ourselves, which is why the pay rate is £13 per hour.
Initial photography hours (approx. 9 hrs/week):
- Fridays: 8:00–9:00 PM / 11:00 PM–1:00 AM
- Saturdays: 3:00–5:00 PM / 11:00 PM–1:00 AM
- Sundays: 8:30–10:30 PM
Additional Photography Opportunities
- Private parties and special events
- Christmas and seasonal celebrations
- Content creation sessions for our website, social media, and online advertising
- Additional weekday or evening bookings, depending on event schedule
Optional Additional Hours
If you’re looking for a full-time role (45+ hours per week), we can offer additional shifts in bar or waitstaff positions alongside your photography work for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Must have your own professional camera and equipment
- Must be available for major dates such as Halloween, December events, and New Year’s Eve
- A creative eye and passion for nightlife, events, and visual storytelling
