ALS People are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Driver in the East Lothian area to work for one of the largest companies in the Waste Industry. ( Musselburgh EH21 8PZ)
The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely and in a timely manner. Duties will include working as part of a team driving the heavy goods vehicle. Full training and induction will be given.
Duties:
- Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle
- Working with a crew of refuse loaders
- Customer Service - Public Facing
Requirements:
- Class 2 driving licence
- Must hold a valid CPC certificate
- Must have a digital tachograph card
Previous experience of the waste industry and of waste collection is preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Hours: Usually Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:45 (task and finish, guaranteed 8 hours paid per day)
