Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of food service areas. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and service. Duties
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas of kitchens, and food preparation zones
- Replenish supplies such as boxes, condiments, and napkins as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food hygiene standards are met
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding food handling and safety procedures
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers effectively
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays if required
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service
Nice-to-have skills include digital design, SketchUp, web design, photography, Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS, graphic design, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe After Effects, Maya, CAD, Sketch, and Adobe Illustrator. These skills can enhance your ability to contribute creatively to promotional materials or visual displays related to the role. This position is paid and offers valuable experience in the hospitality industry.
