About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and experienced HGV Class 2 Lorry Driver to join our team. You will play a key role in transporting timber frame products safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle for deliveries and collections
- Ensure loads are secure and transported in compliance with legal and company standards
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Follow all driving hours, tachograph regulations, and road safety guidelines
- Represent OFP Timber Framed Homes Ltd. professionally at customer sites
Working Hours & Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Start and finish times dependent on business needs (flexibility required)
Requirements
- ✔ A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- ✔ Minimum 2 years’ commercial vehicle driving experience
- ✔ A valid Driver CPC Card
- ✔ A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- ✔ Strong knowledge of UK driving and transport regulations
- ✔ Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- ✔ Good communication and customer service skills
