Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge in either light commercial vehicles/HGV vehicles/ MOT Tester.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
