Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. Duties
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
- Provide attentive supervision and care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through personalised care strategies
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities for assessment purposes
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages children's curiosity and independence
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns
- Assist with organising nursery routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and play sessions
- Uphold nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations and safeguarding protocols
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the nursery team through leadership roles when required
Experience
- Proven experience working within a nursery or early years setting at Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills within childcare environments
- Strong background in working with children, including understanding of child development stages
- Knowledge of childcare legislation, safeguarding procedures, and early childhood education principles
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience in managing behaviour positively and fostering inclusive play environments
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travel between nursery locations or community engagement activities

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
