We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Solicitor to join our reputable legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation on immigration matters, ensuring clients receive accurate guidance through complex immigration procedures. Responsibilities
- Advising clients on immigration options, rights, and obligations in accordance with current legislation and policies
- Preparing, submitting, and managing applications for visas, residence permits, asylum claims, and other immigration-related documentation
- Representing clients at hearings, interviews, and appeals before immigration tribunals and courts
- Negotiating favourable terms and outcomes on behalf of clients during settlement or application processes
- Keeping abreast of legislative changes affecting immigration law and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Maintaining detailed case files and documentation in line with professional standards and confidentiality requirements
- Building strong relationships with clients by providing clear communication and support throughout their legal process
Skills
- Proven experience as an Immigration Solicitor or in a similar legal capacity specialising in immigration law
- Excellent negotiation skills to advocate effectively on behalf of clients
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences
- In-depth knowledge of current immigration legislation, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining high ethical standards within legal practice
Pay: £27,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
