A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Rail & Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Engineer with rail and infrastructure experience to take a leading role in the delivery of major projects, whilst helping to develop a growing engineering team.
The Role
- Lead the delivery of rail and infrastructure engineering projects.
- Act as Technical Lead and provide engineering oversight.
- Manage project programmes, budgets and resources.
- Review and approve technical designs and reports.
- Support multidisciplinary project delivery.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Support business development and tender submissions.
About You
- Chartered Engineer (ICE or IStructE).
- Significant experience within rail and infrastructure engineering.
- CRE(D) experience desirable.
- Strong understanding of Network Rail standards.
- Experience leading project teams and delivering complex schemes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach.
