J Mould Reading is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our waste yard team.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced operator with a strong background in waste handling and the ability to safely operate a range of heavy machinery.
The successful candidate must have:
- Previous waste handling / waste yard experience
- Experience operating 360 excavators
- Experience operating a shovel / loading shovel
- Valid waste handler, 360 excavator and loading shovel tickets
- Good knowledge of safe working practices within a waste yard environment
- Experience loading, unloading, sorting and moving waste materials
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality and a good work ethic
The role will involve:
Operating site machinery to move and process waste materials, keeping the yard organised and safe, loading and unloading vehicles, and carrying out general yard duties as required.
