Greater Space builds residential extensions, loft conversions, and whole-house refurbs across London. Clients come to us by referral, drawings and planning are done before we build, and we run the business on a modern AI-assisted operations system that handles much of the paperwork. We are hiring our first coordinator to run that system day to day.
The role
This is an operations role that grows into a client-facing one.
For your first month you run our operations desk from home: work through the morning task digest, keep client records and follow-ups current, send routine emails from approved templates, chase suppliers by phone, and keep documents moving. The system does the heavy lifting; your job is to operate it reliably and notice what needs attention.
From your second month you start coming out to sites with me: recording structured site videos, taking measurements, attending follow-up visits. From month three, once you know the projects and the clients, you attend client visits on your own.
I train you on everything. You do not need construction experience if you are junior and quick to learn - the system carries the technical detail. If you are more experienced, residential construction background should already be there.
What I am looking for
Two things are non-negotiable.
First, genuine warmth. You like people, and clients would like having you in their home. This cannot be taught, so it comes first.
Second, disciplined follow-through on independent computer work. Most of your hours are you, a laptop, and a task list, with no one watching. If things quietly slip when nobody checks, this is the wrong role. If you are the person who closes every loop, it is right.
You are comfortable with technology and curious about AI tools - they are the core of how we work.
What this is not
A big-company admin job with a team around you, and not a site labouring or trades role. You will work with a lot of independence from day one, with clear daily structure and direct training from the owner.
Terms
£18-22 per hour depending on experience. 25 hours per week spread across Monday to Friday. Home-based initially; London site and client visits from your second month. Full training provided. Paid trial day(s) before any offer. 3-month probation with structured monthly reviews. Start: as soon as you are available, ideally September 2026.
To apply
A short paragraph on why the two non-negotiables describe you, with an example of each. CV alongside. We contact shortlisted applicants only.
