We're looking for a Mobile Cook to work across a number of school kitchens in the Hull, East Riding and Humberside area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking, leading a team, and making a real difference in their local community.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role.
You'll be responsible for:
· Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious school meals using locally sourced ingredients
- Leading and supporting kitchen teams to deliver an excellent service
- Serving meals to pupils and staff with a friendly, customer-focused approach
- Managing food orders and stock levels
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Completing food safety records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
As a Mobile Cook, you'll travel between schools, providing support wherever it's needed and helping ensure every kitchen delivers a fantastic dining experience for children.

We're seeking someone who is:

- Organised, reliable and able to work independently
- A confident team leader with good communication skills
- Flexible and happy to travel between schools across the Hull and East Riding area
- Committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer service
