About Us：
Doufu Mart is a Chinese supermarket in Stratford, dedicated to providing authentic Asian groceries and a friendly shopping experience to our local community. We are currently looking for the enthusiastic, physically strong and hardworking Shop Assistants to join our team.
Job Duties：
· Heavy lifting & carrying: Regularly lift and move stock boxes, Water cases, Rice sacks (up to 5-10kg), and heavy grocery items.
· Replenish shelves and manage back-of-house stock rotation.
· Assist with unloading delivery trucks and organizing the warehouse.
· Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
· Operating the cash register and handling transactions accurately.
· Stocking shelves and ensuring products are well-displayed.
· Checking expiry dates and maintaining store cleanliness.
· Assisting with inventory and receiving deliveries.
Requests：
· Right to work in the UK (essential).
·Physically fit with strong stamina – must be able to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift.
· Proactive, responsible, and able to see what needs to be done without waiting to be told.
· Ability to speak Mandarin and English to assist our customers.
· Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not essential (training provided).
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work on weekends.
