Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible and part time 30+ hours per week also considered)
Salary: £33,728 to £37,229 per annum
Location: Southampton (combined with some hybrid working)

About the role
This role is within Solent Mind’s fundraising and external engagement team, supported by four marketing and communications professionals. It is an exciting and dynamic place to work with opportunities to contribute to wider projects and develop your skills. Solent Mind and the fundraising and external engagement team have experienced rapid growth over the last few years, and this role will play an important part in supporting the ongoing development of our services to support even more people in the community.
About you
As the leader of our external communications, PR, and marketing team, you will be responsible for managing and growing the team. Your expertise, insights, and data-driven approach will be crucial in developing and prioritising our requirements, maintaining our brand identity, and creating an annual plan with key campaigns. To ensure success, you must foster strong partnerships both internally and externally, putting service users and community voices at the forefront of our messaging. In addition, you will oversee our digital and physical presence while supporting internal communications.
Some of the priority projects for the next 12 months include creating an annual plan and delivering two campaigns, finalising and implementing our new brand hierarchy and tone of voice and enabling our services to self-serve where possible.

Last year we supported 55,000 people with their mental health needs and we employ around 400 staff. Our services operate in various locations throughout the Hampshire area.
