Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior <PERSON> (Assistant Manager) to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Oversee daily food production activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, including specialised food preparation and butchery tasks
- Support the management team in maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory levels to ensure smooth operations
- Make sure all stock is put away in correct stock rotation
- Make sure all orders are fore filled to high standards and all labels are put on correct
- Help the manager to make sure all staff are preparing meat to the correct specifications
- Help train current staff to higher standards of butchery
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, culinary arts, or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
- Experience in food preparation, butchery
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous supervisory or assistant management experience within butchery setting is desirable
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualifications in food safety are advantageous
