Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and experienced All-round Multi-skilled Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, enabling them to undertake diverse maintenance, repair, and construction tasks. Duties
- Carry out carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work to specifications.
- Perform roofing repairs and installations with attention to detail and safety.
- Execute construction painting jobs, preparing surfaces and applying finishes as required.
- Conduct plumbing repairs and installations, including pipework, fixtures, and fittings.
- Undertake masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing.
- Operate welding equipment for fabrication and repair purposes.
- Assist with electrical tasks where qualified, including wiring and fixture installation.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently across various trades.
- Fabricate customised components or structures as needed for projects.
- Support general maintenance activities on-site to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during work activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or fabrication.
- Demonstrable proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt quickly to different tasks.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Physical fitness suitable for demanding manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades are desirable but not essential if extensive experience is demonstrated.
- A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail and safety compliance.
