As an Advanced Social Work Practitioner in the Broxtowe Community Social Work Team, you'll be at the forefront of transforming social care. You will play a pivotal role in developing our all-age working practices, supporting our Team Managers, and implementing innovative changes. In this role, you will:

Lead and inspire the team to deliver high-quality social care services.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new working practices.

Provide expert guidance and support to less experienced social workers.

Conduct assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.

Engage with service users and their families to ensure their voices are heard.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and interventions.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
To succeed in this role, you will need:

A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work).

Registration with Social Work England.

Significant experience in adult social care, ideally in a community setting.

Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
-
You will either be an Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) a Best Interests Assessor (BIA) or Practice Educator (Level 2) Knowledge and experience of safeguarding adult’s work within multi-agency procedures and experience of staff supervision, training, and development.

You will have a full driver’s licence and the use of a car for work (unless disability precludes this).
