Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Plumber to join our dynamic facilities team. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems throughout the facility.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete plumbing projects accurately and safely.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing infrastructure to identify issues before they escalate.
- Conduct heavy lifting of equipment and materials necessary for plumbing repairs and installations.
- Utilize basic math skills to measure, cut, and assemble piping and fixtures with precision.
- Assist with assembly of plumbing components during new installations or upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted for compliance and future reference.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously and ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a plumber or maintenance technician with a strong understanding of plumbing systems in commercial settings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry tools required for plumbing tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, fixtures, valves, and drainage solutions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various work environments.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting plumbing issues.
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Certification or training in plumbing techniques is highly desirable; ongoing professional development encouraged.
