An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering projects across the water, utilities, infrastructure and renewable sectors.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site activities and site teams.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
- Manage subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and RAMS.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate site records and daily reports.
- Monitor progress and identify potential issues or delays.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering, groundworks or reinforced concrete frame.
- Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- SMSTS and CSCS required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Water, utilities or infrastructure experience would be highly advantageous
