Sports Coach (Football & Multi-Sports) – Freelance
Location - South Manchester
Rate - £25 per hour
FIFTH Movement is looking for an experienced sports coach to deliver football and multi-sports sessions for primary-aged children on a freelance basis.
The role involves leading engaging sessions for both KS1 and KS2 pupils, helping children develop skills, confidence, teamwork, and enjoyment through physical activity.
Applicants should be based within a reasonable commuting distance and be able to travel reliably to the school each week.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver football and multi-sports sessions for KS1 and KS2 pupils.
- Lead structured, engaging activities suitable for a range of ages and abilities.
- Create a positive learning environment with clear expectations and behaviour standards.
- Adapt activities where required to support participation from all children.
- Communicate professionally with school staff and the FIFTH Movement team.
Requirements
- Relevant sports coaching qualification.
- Experience delivering sports activities to primary-aged children.
- Strong group management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last three years.
- Ability to travel reliably to a school in South Manchester.
- Professional, organised, and dependable approach to delivery.
FIFTH Movement works with primary schools across Greater Manchester, delivering PE, extra-curricular clubs, wellbeing programmes, holiday camps, and physical activity initiatives. We are looking for coaches who can represent the organisation professionally and deliver consistently high standards within schools.
