Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Grass Cutter and Tractor Driver to join our grounds maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining outdoor landscapes, ensuring the grounds are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. This role involves operating various machinery and tools to perform landscaping tasks efficiently and safely. Prior experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or construction is highly desirable, along with mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about gardening, landscaping, and outdoor work to develop their skills further.
Responsibilities--
- Operate tractors and other landscaping machinery to cut grass, trim hedges, and maintain lawns across designated sites
- Use hand tools such as shears, trimmers, and shovels for detailed gardening and horticultural tasks
- Ensure all grounds are kept tidy by removing debris, weeds, and overgrowth
- Follow health and safety guidelines during operation of machinery and manual tasks to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and basic repair of tractors, excavators, and power tools
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently3
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labour
- A valid driving licence suitable for operating tractors or similar machinery l
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Experience:
