What the Role Involves:
- Delivering high-quality, creative care and learning experiences for children aged 0–5.
- Supporting the implementation of the EYFS framework through engaging, play-based activities.
- Assisting with observations, tracking progress, and ensuring safeguarding standards are strictly met.
- Creating a warm, inclusive, and positive environment where children feel secure and eager to learn.
- Adapting quickly to different team dynamics, whether you are stepping in for a day or joining a school for a full term.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualifications: A valid Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, NNEB, or a recognized equivalent).
- Experience: Proven experience working within an EYFS setting or nursery environment.
- Knowledge: A solid, working understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Traits: High energy, patience, excellent communication skills, and a genuine love for early childhood development.
- Compliance: An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one) and two checkable professional references.
