Full Time Role:
Easy Recycling Solutions Ltd is offering a full time opportunity at our Bedford site for a reliable, friendly, and a proactive Metal Recycling General Assistant. No experience needed – just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Working Hours :
- 37.5 hours per week
- Full time: 4 weekdays: 08:00 – 17:00 (1-hour unpaid break) plus the Saturday below:
- *Saturday: 08:00 – 14:00 (30-minute unpaid break)
This is a physical, varied role that involves working both independently and as part of a supportive, down-to-earth team. You’ll be dealing with customers, sorting metal materials, and helping keep the site running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude
- Sort and process recyclable metals
- Use simple IT systems to log materials (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, safe working area
- Follow Health & Safety guidelines
- Operate basic machinery and tools (training provided)
- Support the wider team and assist in daily site operations
- What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly and approachable – great with people and our great customers
- Organised and good at managing your time
- Willing to learn and not afraid to get stuck in
- Reliable and trustworthy – a real team player
- Happy to carry out manual lifting and happy to work on your feet
- Good communicator and basic IT skills is desirable
- No previous experience needed – we’ll train you!
- Maintain high standards of safety and productivity while adhering to company policies and procedures
- A full driving licence is desirable as we have a company van. Due to insurance requirements, applicants must be 18 years old and over. 21 years to drive the company vehicle. We also have a vacancy for non-driver.
