Change Delivery is the driving force behind Sky. We deliver change at pace in a complex environment, helping turn ideas into reality, from launching new products and propositions to improving how our contact centres and engineers serve our customers.
With hundreds of changes in flight at any one time across TV, Connectivity, Sales, Service and the platforms underneath them, the hard part is knowing what we’re delivering, what it’s worth, what it depends on and what has to give. Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) sits right at the heart of it, turning separate portfolio plans into the clear picture our senior leaders use to decide where Sky invests and what gets delivered first.
This role in Change, Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) is focused on Enterprise Portfolio Management, which:
You'll work across every Change Portfolio and with Technology Portfolio Management (TPM), Product and Operations, giving you a view of Sky's change agenda that very few roles offer and the chance to influence what we prioritise.
What you’ll do
Identify, track and coordinate dependencies, risks and sequencing across portfolios and external partners, escalating issues and supporting resolution where conflicts arise.
Build strong working relationships across Change Portfolios, Technology, Product and Operations, providing challenge where plans or assumptions may impact wider business outcomes.
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria:
A track record of working across multiple teams, workstreams or business areas at the same time, identifying dependencies, risks and connections between them that are not immediately obvious.
Strong communication with senior audiences, with experience of producing reporting, presentations or written recommendations for stakeholders at Head of, Director or equivalent level, and turning complex information into a clear and concise narrative.
Comfortable operating with ambiguity, with experience of working where priorities compete or direction is unclear, taking the initiative to create clarity and make progress, alongside a realistic understanding of what delivery involves in practice.
Commercially aware, understanding how change activity contributes to business performance and value, with experience of improving processes, reporting or ways of working, including openness to using AI to work more efficiently.
Desirable skills and experience:
A degree, professional qualification (for example CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or a recognised project or portfolio management qualification) or equivalent relevant experience.
