Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurse Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, supporting their development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Duties
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging educational activities tailored to the individual needs of children.
- Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development through creative play and structured learning.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Lead by example in implementing nursery policies, procedures, and best practices in childcare.
- Support the management team with daily operational tasks and contribute to team meetings.
- Assist with the organisation of outings or trips that enhance children's learning experiences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Contribute to the ongoing assessment of children's progress and prepare reports for parents or guardians.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent recognised early childhood education certification.
- Proven experience working within a nursery setting or similar childcare environment.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with children, understanding their individual needs and interests.
- Knowledge of current safeguarding policies and procedures relevant to early years settings.
- Ability to organise activities that promote developmental milestones across all areas of learning.
- A proactive approach to teamwork and collaboration within a busy nursery environment.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for facilitating outings or home visits where necessary.
