Planet Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a busy and well-established organisation based in Upper Heyford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and is committed to maintaining high standards.
As a Yard Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed checks and inspections to ensure products meet the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out quality checks and visual inspections.

Identifying defects, damage or issues that do not meet required standards.

Ensuring work is completed accurately and to a high standard.

Recording and reporting any quality issues.

Working as part of a team to resolve quality concerns.

Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines.

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
The successful candidate will have:

A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot even minor defects.

A methodical and thorough approach to work.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

The ability to follow processes and instructions accurately.

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience within quality control, inspection, manufacturing, production, automotive or a similar environment would be advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
