We are looking for experienced gardeners who take pride in their work and can maintain domestic gardens to a high professional standard.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for individuals who can arrive on day one and work independently using professional petrol-powered equipment without supervision.

Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing to a professional standard
- Strimming and weed control
- Creating and maintaining sharp lawn edges
- Hedge and shrub trimming
- Leaf blowing and garden tidy-ups
- Pressure washing
- Loading and disposing of garden waste and grass cuttings
- Keeping equipment and work areas clean and tidy
- Delivering high-quality work at every property
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A minimum of 3 years' professional garden maintenance experience
- Experience using professional petrol-powered gardening equipment
- Confidence operating:
- Honda lawn mowers
- STIHL strimmers
- STIHL hedge trimmers
- STIHL blowers
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Experience reloading an STIHL AutoCut C26-2 strimmer head
- Experience creating clean, straight lawn edges with a strimmer
- Good physical fitness for outdoor manual work
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Driving Requirements
A full UK driving licence and access to transport is preferred.
Applicants without a driving licence will only be considered if they live close to our office on Claremont Road, Manchester M14 4TS and can reliably travel to work each morning.
Important
- No training is provided. You must already have the experience and skills required to carry out the role independently.
- A Health & Safety and COSHH induction will be provided before starting.
Preferred Candidates
We are particularly interested in applicants who have:
- Previously run their own gardening business or maintained their own client base
- Worked for a professional landscaping or grounds maintenance company
- A portfolio of previous work (before and after photos are highly desirable)
Please Do Not Apply If
- You only have experience maintaining your own garden.
- Your only experience is using domestic electric garden equipment.
- You are not confident using professional petrol-powered machinery.
- You require training to carry out routine garden maintenance.
