The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our materials and stores operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of stock and equipment.
Responsibilities will include loading installation trolleys in the yard, receiving and unloading deliveries, organising and replenishing stock, and maintaining a safe, tidy, and well-managed stores environment. The role also involves providing general operational support to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

The Role
As a Materials Handler / Storeperson / Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations team by ensuring materials, equipment, and stock are received, stored, managed, and distributed efficiently. This is a hands-on position requiring a proactive approach, excellent organisational skills, and a willingness to support a variety of operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming deliveries, checking quantities against delivery notes, inspecting for damage, and reporting any discrepancies.
- Liaise closely with the Operations Manager to maintain accurate stock records, update inventory levels, and carry out routine stock counts and audits.
- Organise and store materials safely and efficiently, ensuring all items are correctly labelled and readily accessible.
- Prepare and load installation trolleys with the required equipment and materials for engineering teams.
- Deliver materials and equipment to engineers across various sites, including both planned and emergency deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient stores and yard environment.
- Assist with project mobilisation and site setup requirements.
- Support fleet administration by assisting with vehicle inspections, MOT appointments, servicing, repairs, and vehicle collections.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained throughout the premises, including sweeping, waste disposal, and general upkeep of internal and external areas.
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding role that involves regular manual handling and heavy lifting. Candidates must be comfortable carrying, moving, and loading materials and equipment safely throughout the working day.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to commute to our Rowfant, Crawley office; due to the location, access to your own transport is essential.
- Must reside within approximately 30 minutes of the office.
- Comfortable undertaking manual handling duties, including regular lifting and moving of materials and equipment.
The Package
- Working Hours: 08:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
