Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Cleaner to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including window cleaning or deep-cleaning procedures
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness of all areas
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to health and safety regulations
