Role: Quality Manager (RGN)
Location: local to Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire
Salary: Up to £80k per annum

With a portfolio of high-quality care homes and further expansion planned, the business is investing heavily in quality, governance and clinical excellence to ensure every service delivers exceptional care and outstanding resident outcomes.
Reporting directly into the Director of Quality, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting Home Managers and Operational Leaders to continuously improve quality, strengthen clinical governance and achieve excellent regulatory performance across the portfolio.
This is far more than an audit role. You'll be a trusted operational partner, working alongside services to identify opportunities, develop action plans and embed sustainable improvements that have a lasting impact.
The Role
Working across a regional portfolio, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive quality, governance and regulatory audits across care homes.
- Supporting services before, during and after CQC inspections.
- Coaching and developing Home Managers and clinical teams to continuously improve standards.
- Reviewing clinical practice, care planning, medicines management, infection prevention and governance processes.
- Identifying operational and clinical risks whilst implementing sustainable improvement plans.
- Supporting services through turnaround and improvement programmes where required.
- Monitoring compliance against CQC Fundamental Standards and internal governance frameworks.
- Producing detailed audit reports and presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Building strong relationships with operational teams to create a positive culture of continuous improvement.
- Supporting wider organisational quality initiatives as the business continues to grow.
About You
We're looking to speak with experienced quality professionals who are passionate about raising standards and supporting operational teams to succeed.
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- Current NMC registration (RGN or RMN) – Essential
- Previous experience in a Quality, Clinical Governance, Regulation or Operational Improvement role within elderly care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, inspection frameworks and clinical governance.
- Experience supporting services through regulatory inspections and quality improvement programmes.
- Excellent understanding of safeguarding, medicines management, clinical governance and risk management.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills with the ability to develop operational leaders.
- Excellent communication, analytical and report-writing skills.
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge constructively where required.
- Willingness to travel across the region.
