Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Junior Architect to join our dynamic design team. Duties
- Assist in developing design concepts using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and ArchiCAD
- Prepare detailed drawings, plans, sections, and elevations for various project phases
- Collaborate with project teams to produce accurate construction documents and presentation materials
- Support project management tasks including scheduling, coordination, and documentation updates
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather on-site data and ensure design implementation aligns with specifications
- Utilize NavisWorks for clash detection and coordination of complex building systems
- Engage in material selection and joinery detailing to ensure design integrity and constructability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper), SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic understanding of construction processes and experience with joinery details is highly desirable
- Strong skills in negotiation for client presentations and supplier interactions
- Experience with CAD software for drafting and modeling tasks
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools for effective team collaboration
- Prior construction experience or internships are advantageous but not mandatory; a keen desire to learn is essential
