Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and skilled Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to join our team at our Southampton Depot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Duties
- Deliver goods to various locations, ensuring all deliveries are made on time.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Ensure that all items are properly secured for transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients upon delivery.
Qualifications
- Hold a full up to date Drivers CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Hold a Class 1 or Class 2 licence with at least 1 years experience
- Have no more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)
- Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

This role is Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week, with overtime available on Saturdays.
